Description
The Safariland 578 GLS Pro-Fit is an outside-the-waistband holster for right-handed carry, built for a range of compact and full-size handguns. It uses the GLS Grip Lock System, which secures the pistol when holstered and releases it when the shooter's middle finger is applied with a standard shooting grip.
The holster body is made of SafariSeven, a lightweight nylon blend that is non-abrasive to a gun's finish and tolerant of extreme temperatures. It is finished smooth in Flat Dark Earth. Mounting options include an adjustable injection-molded belt loop that allows cross-draw carry and a molded paddle that can be used with or without a belt.
The Pro-Fit is listed to fit Glock 19, 19X, 23, 32, and 45, Springfield XDS 4.0, and S&W SD9VE and SD40VE pistols with barrels from 3.30 to 4.25 inches, and is chambered for 40 S&W.
