Description
The Safariland 578 GLS Pro-Fit is an outside-the-waistband paddle holster for right-handed carry, built around the GLS (Grip Lock System) retention feature. The GLS secures the firearm when holstered and releases it when the middle finger is applied with a standard shooting grip. The holster body is made of SafariSeven, a lightweight nylon blend described as non-abrasive to a gun's finish and tolerant of extreme temperatures.
The Pro-Fit design is adjustable to fit a wide range of pistols, including Beretta 92, Springfield XD 5-inch and XDM models, and Sig Sauer P226 and P320 long-slide variants. The paddle is injection-molded and the adjustable belt loop allows cross-draw carry. The holster can be worn with or without a belt when the paddle is in place.
